In 2006 I was driving down the road listening to a Focus on the Family radio broadcast. The speaker was a woman that was sharing the story of adopting her daughter. I don’t remember her name or all the details. But I do remember that God nudged my heart while I was listening. I’m sure he began working on my heart concerning adoption long before I heard this broadcast. However, this is the time that I remember God started to lead me to where I am today, a mother of two adopted children. Adoption is a beautiful story found on the pages of scripture and demonstrated today in families across the world. It is a journey spiritually, physically, and emotionally. A journey that I am so thankful is a part of God’s plan for my life.
